The women lodged a complaint with the police once morest Sujeesh, an artist from Infected Tattoo Studio in Edappally, Kochi, following the Meetoo allegations. Five cases have been registered alleging that Sujeesh was sexually harassed while getting a tattoo. A sixth case will be taken up soon. Commissioner says arrest of absconding Sujeesh will not be delayed The Women’s Commission, which was involved in the case, made it clear that it would provide the necessary legal assistance to the young women.
It is learned that Sujeesh has entered Bangalore. Infected Tattoo Studio has been closed since the allegations surfaced. The staff at the studio have been called by police. The case was registered at the North Women’s Station following the statement of the young woman. The medical examination was also completed.
