Toronto: Police identify dismembered woman

Toronto police have managed to identify a woman who was found dismembered in a trash bag on Monday followingnoon in the Leslieville neighborhood.

This is Tien Ly, a 46-year-old woman from the Ontario capital. Police are now looking to locate her 20-year-old son, Dallas Ly, saying they are concerned for his health and safety.

The discovery was made around 1:30 p.m. in the area of ​​Eastern and Berkshire avenues.

The homicide unit then took over the investigation, since obvious signs of trauma were found on the body, including dismemberments.

Authorities therefore want to speak to anyone who was near the scene between 10 a.m. and the time of the discovery, and who saw someone pushing a cart full of black trash bags.
