Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah will participate in a mock game in Dunedin, Florida, according to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com.

The reporter also reported that Manoah will go for five innings and face members of the Jays, many of whom will be prospects.

Toronto had demoted Manoah in the Florida Complex League last week following a difficult start to the season.

While he finished third in votes for the Cy-Young Trophy, awarded to the best pitcher of the season, Manoah is currently 1-7 with a 6.36 earned run average. He leads MLB in most walks allowed with 42 in just 58 innings.

In his last game with the Jays once morest the Houston Astros on June 7, he allowed six runs in the first inning.

Manoah had a record of 16 wins and seven losses in 2022.
