Tori Spelling announced on Instagram that she contracted a severe form of the coronavirus with her five children.
After having celebrated the holidays with the family, Tori Spelling ended up with a nasty surprise: covid-19. On Instagram, the 48-year-old actress, who would soon be on the verge of divorce of her husband Dean McDermott, revealed Friday, January 7, 2022 that she had contracted the virus. Her five children, Liam (14), Stella (13), Hattie (10), Finn (9) and Beau (4) also tested positive.
“We all have varying degrees of symptoms. I was the last to be symptomatic. We were all praying that it was just a bad winter cold. But it was not. Nothing is worse than wanting to take care of your little ones but feeling so sick that you can hardly walk on your own. I feel useless as a parent. Devastated. A mother is supposed to take care of her children when they are sick. This is how it works. But we are all going through this together. I know we are not alone. So many people go through this too. Or have been there. Or will go through this, ”she said.
“It’s been days and we’re not getting any better”
In a story published on Saturday, the ex-star of “Beverly Hills” then explained that she had contracted a rather heavy form of the disease. “The reaction of others is sometimes weird when they find out you have covid. I have the impression that those who have had a severe form understand. But others think that if you are vaccinated, it is not so bad. They say “I have friends who have had mild symptoms and then it’s gone.” Well I wish that were our case, but no. It’s been days and it’s hell. We’re not getting any better. It’s painful. So if someone tells you they’ve contracted covid, check in. Show compassion and give them your time. Each person has a different experience. But I’ll tell you something … When we’re so sick, we quickly find out who our real friends are. I thank everyone who heard from us and offered help by bringing us food or medicine. I love you, ”she wrote.
A few days before she fell ill, Tori Spelling was on a ski vacation with her children.
