Topping-out ceremony at HighFive in Linz

Work on the spectacular “High Five” construction project at Linz’s Bulgariplatz is now well underway. As a thank you for their excellent work, the craftsmen and representatives of the companies carrying out the work were invited to the topping-out ceremony last Thursday (September 19).
During the traditional topping-out ceremony, chief foreman Markus Preining (Kapl Bau), surrounded by his colleagues, sent greetings to the assembled guests and thanked God for an accident-free construction period. Afterwards, there was food and drink for all the craftsmen and women involved in the construction of the building – and there are quite a lot of them: a good 200 guests came to the topping-out ceremony.
The Holzhaider group of companies, with its subsidiaries Hoch- und Tiefbau (partial general contractor), Kapl Bau (building construction, plumbers & roofing contractors) and mglass GmbH (post-and-beam/glass facade), provided the largest delegation. Managing director Johann Amerstorfer thanked not only his team for their excellent work, but also the building owners for their trust. This praise was immediately returned: both the clients and the architects are just as impressed with the progress of the construction and the competent handling as City Councilor Dietmar Prammer, who came to the topping-out ceremony as a representative of the City of Linz.
Following the short official part, there was food and drink for the hard-working craftsmen and women, and then the rapid and, above all, accident-free progress of the construction work was properly celebrated.
About the “HighFive” project
The construction project with the 70-meter-high tower and the spectacular facade already characterizes the appearance of Bulgariplatz in Linz. The shell has now been completed and the interior work is already in full swing. Around 300 apartments will be accommodated here, as well as commercial space, roof gardens, green courtyards and two underground parking levels. Completion is scheduled for summer 2025.-Advertisement
