(Updated with Chinese ADR, Home Depot, VinFast) PARIS, Aug 15 (Archyde.com) – Top stocks to watch on Tuesday on Wall Street, where major index futures suggest an open down 0.66% for the Dow Jones .DJI , Standard & Poor’s 500 .SPX 0.64% and Nasdaq .IXIC 0.68% : * BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY BRKa.N – The conglomerate on Monday announced new investments in DR homebuilders HORTON DHI.N, LENNAR LEN.N and NVR NVR.N. DR HORTON gained 2.8% and LENNAR 2% following the close. Among the sales, Berkshire parted with 45% of its stake in GENERAL MOTORS GM.N, down 1% following the close. Additionally, Berkshire increased its stake in CAPITAL ONE COF.N, which is gaining 1% following the close, reduced its stakes in CELANESE CE.N and GLOBE LIFE GL.N, and exited from MARSH & MCLENNAN MMC. N , MCKESSON MCK.N and VITESSE ENERGY VTS.N . * TESLA TSLA.O will launch two cheaper versions of its Model S sedan and Model X SUV in the United States, with shorter ranges, according to the automaker’s website, which is down 1% ahead of opening. * GETTY IMAGES GETY.N fell 13.6% following the close, as the company forecast revenue to decline 0.7% to 0.9% for the year from the previous forecast of 1% at 4% growth. * Prices of Chinese companies listed in the United States JD.COM JD.O, ALIBABA GROUP BABA.N and BILIBILI BILI.O, decline between 0.3% and 1.3% before the opening following a new series of economic data disappointing Chinese. * HOME DEPOT HD.N advanced 0.3% pre-opening as the home improvement distributor’s sales fell 2% to $42.92 billion, beating analysts’ average estimate of 42 .23 billion. The company maintains its full-year sales and profit guidance and announced a new $15 billion share buyback program. * VINFAST VFS.O – The Vietnamese electric vehicle maker’s share price more than doubled ahead of the opening as the company is due to debut on the Nasdaq on Tuesday. * LL FLOORING LL.N – The home furnishings retailer was up 13.3% following the close as the company said it was considering its strategic alternatives, including a potential sale and merger or other strategic transactions. * GRINDR GRND.N was up 19.4% following the bell, as the dating platform raised its forecast for fiscal 2023 revenue growth to 28% from its earlier forecast of 25%.
