PARIS, September 19 (Archyde.com) – Stocks to watch on Tuesday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe:
* SOCIETE GENERALE SOGN.PA – HSBC lowered its recommendation to “hold” from “buy”. The bank’s stock fell 12% on Monday following the highly anticipated presentation of the strategic plan by the bank’s new general director, Slawomir Krupa, which disappointed analysts and investors.
* AÉROPORTS DE PARIS (ADP) ADP.PA announced on Monday a 13.6% increase in its total traffic in August, to 34 million passengers.
* VINCI SGEF.PA reported on Monday a 21.1% increase in attendance at the airports in its network in August.
* SMCP SMCP.PA on Monday revised downwards its forecasts for this year, saying in particular it was aiming for mid-single-digit growth in its turnover at constant exchange rates.
* CASINO CASP.PA – The distributor said it had reached an agreement in principle with the holders of bonds issued by Quatrim.
* TUI confirmed its annual outlook for the 2023 financial year on Tuesday, building on strong bookings for the summer and winter seasons, despite extreme weather conditions, from floods to heatwaves, which disrupted flights and vacation.
* KINGFISHER KGF.L, owner of the Castorama and Brico Dépôt brands, lowered its annual pre-tax profit forecast by 7% on Tuesday due to weak demand on its markets in France and Poland.
* STELLANTIS STLAM.MI – The United Auto Workers union said it would announce new factory strikes on Friday if no serious progress is made in negotiations with Ford, General Motors and Stellantis.
* SANTANDER SAN.MC will consolidate its retail, commercial and consumer banking activities into two new global divisions in order to improve its performance and win customers, the group said on Monday.
* GENERALI GASI.MI – The rating agency Fitch on Monday raised the rating of the Italian insurer from A to A+, with a stable outlook.
