Mumbai Indians won the IPL star auction. Mumbai Indians have doubled the strength of their already stable squad by bringing in the explosive pacers.
Sri Lankan superstar Dilshan Madhushanka and South African superstar Gerald Coetzee are the star picks of Mumbai Indians. Mumbai showed its strength by bringing the World Cup heroes of each team to the team. Mumbai acquired Madhushanka for Rs 4.6 crore while Dil Se Army acquired Kotsi for Rs 5 crore.
Dilshan Madhushanka is the highest wicket taker for Sri Lanka in the World Cup. Madhushanka’s team was strong by taking 21 wickets from nine balls. Even though he could not make any significant achievements in the World Cup, the performance of the star excited the fans.
Similarly, Coetzee is the highest wicket-taker for the Proteas in the 2023 World Cup. The young South African has taken 20 wickets from eight matches.
With the arrival of both of them, the pace bowling unit of Mumbai Indians has become tenfold stronger. There are six players in the squad led by Jasprit Bumrah.
Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, Gerald Kotsi, Dilshan Madhushanka, Jason Behrendorff and Akash Madhwal, Mumbai Indians’ pace line-up includes captain Hardik Pandya, who was brought in from Gujarat Titans.
