DENVER, Colorado – According to new research, Colorado Springs has been named the most pet-friendly city in America.
The analysis carried out by PetLab evaluated 19 factors that might contribute to pet-friendliness in US cities, including the number of dog parks per 100,000 residents, the cost of a vet visit, and the average pet insurance rate.
Colorado Springs was highlighted as the most pet-friendly city in America, with an index score of 63.85 out of 100.
Madison, Wisconsin, came in second, with an index score of 63.58 out of 100, while Portland, Oregon, ranked third on the list of most pet-friendly cities in America.
Tucson, Arizona, is in fourth place, with a score of 61.90 out of 100 in the 19 factors evaluated. Lexington, Kentucky, ranked fifth as the fifth best city for pet lovers and their furry companions in the United States, with an index score of 61.22 out of 100.
