Lasse MATUMBAMAN Urpalainen, who retired from Dota 2, accepted an invitation to the Fuzer Lategame Open 3 tournament. The competition with a prize fund of €1.5 thousand will be held at the LAN in Tampere, Finland.
Eight teams will compete in the tournament, seven of which will go through open qualifiers. According to the rules of Fuzer Lategame Open 3, the total MMR of the participants of each roster cannot exceed 31 thousand. MATUMBAMAN will play with a roster called Lassen parhaat miehet + Tommi – there are no other famous e-sportsmen in it.
Urpalainen played on the professional Dota 2 stage from 2013 to 2022. In the past, he represented Team Liquid and Team Secret. Together with Kuro’s team KuroKy Salehi Takhasomi, he became the champion of The International 2017 and a number of other major tournaments.
