MWith the Friday Night Session on September 15th, the cultural Jazz Autumn started with Bertl Mayer and his quartet in the Kulturhaus Poysdorf.
Bertl Mayer and his quartet started the fall season on Friday. The Viennese is one of the few jazz musicians who have perfected the chromatic harmonica. With him, proven masters of their subject could be heard for the first time in this line-up in Poysdorf.
Martin Spitzer on guitar, Joschi Schneeberger on double bass and Anton Mühlhofer on percussion. They provided elegantly swinging jazz, which brought their very personal interpretations from the tradition of modern jazz to life with lyrical nuances and spontaneity.
Gerald Köhler warmly welcomed the guests of this evening and also presented “Koolinger” on October 20th at 7 p.m., the “Carlsson/Kotaca Quartet” on November 16th at 7 p.m. and Christian Havel – Remembering Wes on December 9th, at 7 p.m. the three Kulturhaus events in autumn 2023. Köhler also invited people to come to the Kulturhaus. Admission is free to simply get to know and enjoy the music. Everyone can then give their contribution as a donation and can support Jazz & Wine in Poysdorf as they see fit.
