Top Chef 2024: here is who was eliminated from season 15 this Monday March 18, 2024

Pierre Gagnaire will also have an important role in this anniversary season, but we will have to wait until next week to find out which one.

The candidates were divided into three groups of five to participate in the qualifying events. Only four out of the five were qualified to continue the adventure, the candidate not having been chosen was directly sent to last chance. Each chef had to choose two candidates in turn, from three different tests. The first group had to impress the chefs with a simple egg. It was composed of Pierre Reure, Lise Deveix, Jorick Dorignac, Shirley Duthilleux and Pierre-Pascal Clément. The second group was composed of Clotaire Poirier, Valentin Raffali, Marie Pacotte, Pavel Hug and Pol-Henri Dieu (from Chaumont-Gistoux, consulting chef for Yves Mattagne). They had to make a dish around the pear. Bryan Debouche (French chef who came to settle in Belgium a few years ago), Arnaud Munster (the youngest candidate of this 15th season, he is also the first candidate of Flemish origin), Inès Trontin, Quentin Maufrais and Thibault Marchand made up the third group of this test, they had to make a dish around the carrot.

For the first test Hélène Darroze and Glenn Viel were present to choose two candidates. And if the two leaders had chosen the same person, it was up to the candidate to choose the brigade he wanted to join. The orange brigade is therefore made up of Jorick Dorignac (who had been chosen by the two leaders, but who decided to go to the orange). Then, it was Shirley Duthilleux who was chosen to join the orange team. In the gray brigade, Pierre Reure was chosen first by Glenn Viel. Then Lise Deveix joined the gray team. She had been chosen by Hélène Darroze, and Glenn Viel, so she was able to choose her brigade.

For the second test, Dominique Crenn and Paul Pairet were able to choose two candidates to join their team. Valentin Raffali was chosen to join the orange brigade, and Clotaire Poirier the gray team. For the second choice, the two chefs made the same: Pavel Hug. He chose to join the orange brigade. It was Marie Pacotte who was chosen by Paul Pairet to complete the choices for this event.

In the third event Stéphanie Le Quellec and Philippe Etchebest had to complete the brigade choices. Given that Anicée, the winner of Objectif Top Chef, is automatically in Philippe Etchebest’s brigade, he only had to make one choice on this last test.

Then, it was Arnaud Munster who joined this same team. Quentin Maufrais was chosen by the two leaders and decided to go to the orange brigade. Bryan Debouche was chosen by Philippe Etchebest.

The remaining candidates had to face each other as a last chance. Pierre Pascal Clément, Pol-Henri Dieu, Inès Trontin and Thibault Marchand had to complete a test around red mullet.

The Belgian Pol-Henri Dieu won over the jury and therefore remains in the competition. Two candidates were eliminated. It was Inès Trontin and Thibault Marchand who had to leave the adventure following this first week of competition.
