To better support allergies, the Institut Pasteur shares a few good gestures:
– If you go out, wear goggles to prevent the pollen from coming into contact with your eyes;
– Ventilate the house very early in the morning or late in the evening rather than during the day. Grasses will not enter the house, which helps to avoid allergy attacks;
– Do not sleep with the window open if your bed is close to it;
– Avoid driving in a car with the windows open or riding a bicycle;
– Before going out for a walk, check the RNSA website to see if there is a pollen alert;
– Rinse your hair at night to remove pollen;
– Do not rub your eyes;
– Do not practice sports outdoors.
These simple gestures make it possible to relieve the various symptoms and to better cross the periods of peak of pollen. However, if you are really bothered by your symptoms, consult a doctor.
