After eating large quantities of meat on Eid al-Adha, some people may develop high levels of cholesterol in the blood, and thus increase the chances of developing cardiovascular diseases.

1- Green tea
Green tea contains catechins and other antioxidants that help significantly in lowering bad cholesterol levels, in addition to the presence of sufficient levels of caffeine, which is known for its high ability to reduce bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol.

2- Soy milk
Soybeans are known for their great ability to contain a low amount of saturated fats, and then soy milk contains the same elements, which makes it great for reducing harmful cholesterol levels, which helps control heart disease, as it is preferable to eat it following eating fatty meals to get the best results.

3- Raspberry juice
Berries are characterized by containing a large amount of antioxidants and fiber, both of which help in lowering levels of harmful cholesterol and improving levels of good cholesterol. It is preferable to drink berry juice following eating any fatty meals, in order to protect the body from any complications.

4- Drinks rich in cocoa
Cocoa is one of the main ingredients in dark chocolate, as it contains antioxidants, including flavonoids, thus improving levels of good cholesterol. Therefore, people should be keen to consume drinks and foods rich in cocoa during the Eid days in order to protect once morest complications from high harmful cholesterol.
5- Citrus juices
Citrus juices, including lemon, orange, and grapefruit, help control harmful cholesterol levels, because they contain a good amount of antioxidants and vitamins that the body needs, so it is preferable to eat them alongside foods on Eid al-Adha or following meals.
