After eating large quantities of meat on Eid al-Adha, some people may develop high levels of cholesterol in the blood, and thus increase the chances of developing cardiovascular diseases.

1- Green tea

Green tea contains catechins and other antioxidants that help significantly in lowering bad cholesterol levels, in addition to the presence of sufficient levels of caffeine, which is known for its high ability to reduce bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol.

5- Citrus juices

Citrus juices, including lemon, orange, and grapefruit, help control harmful cholesterol levels, because they contain a good amount of antioxidants and vitamins that the body needs, so it is preferable to eat them alongside foods on Eid al-Adha or following meals.
