BI cross-referenced the data with house price data to identify places that are both cheap at clean.

Cities in Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado were among the least polluted.
If you are looking to move to a new city in 2024, especially if you are leaving a dense urban environment, you may be longer for nature and cleaner air.
Swiss company IQAir recently released its annual air quality reportranking the most and least polluted countries and cities in the world.
IQAir, which sells air-purification products, used ground-level air monitoring stations to analyze small-particle pollution known as PM2.5, which has been linked to heart and lung issues.
Business Insider compiled the 15 least polluted cities in the US that were listed as having the lowest PM2.5 levels in 2023.
BI also included data on how much it would cost to buy a property there, taken from realtor.com. Some are relatively cheap, with median prices at, or slightly below, the US average of $384,500.
Only cities with populations over 50,000 were included in this ranking.
