- Jose Maria Buljubasich: “A very serious goalkeeper, located and very respectful. Tati, because of his personality, because of his tranquility, did not have that typical madness characteristic of most goalkeepers. He taught me many things, especially respect for everyone, in football and in life. It was a pleasure for me to be his partner. A great professional and a better person.”
– Edgardo Bauza: “A frontal DT who knows a lot regarding soccer. When the Patón directed me in the first of Rosario Central I was never a starter. I wasn’t lucky enough to play too much, but I must admit that Bauza is a coach who gives the footballer a lot of confidence and that is extremely important for any player”.
- German Rivarola: “I never thought I was going to be DT. Pirulo was so shy that when he stopped playing as a professional soccer player, he surprised me, I didn’t see him and I never imagined that he would continue to be linked to soccer, let alone as a coach. With Germán we were teammates at Central and the youth team, we shared many things, many moments, but he never lost his humility, Today he is eager to learn and lead ”.
– Juan José López: “A serious, strict guy with a winning mentality. Jota Jota directed me for a very short period at Central. During the short time I shared with him, I honestly didn’t have much of a relationship or affinity with him.”
– Miguel Russo: “The DT to whom I owe everything. Miguel gave me the opportunity to debut in the first of Rosario Central. He trusted me and benched me as a starter for two tournaments. A phenomenon as a coach and as a person. I have the best of memories of Miguel”.
– Horacio Carbonari: “A benchmark with presence and personality. The Gringo took great care of me because he knew where I came from and that it had cost me a lot to get to the first division. I always had a good vibe with Peta, to this day we are still in contact”.
– Jose Pekerman: “A DT with surprising and very professional wisdom. With José, the technical talks prior to the games were short and to the point. He was not very demonstrative, he marked the distance that, according to him, should exist between the player and his coaching staff. I remember that before going in to play he would tell you very few things and he would remark on you; “Do everything you know and go.” Thanks to Pekerman I played in the 1999 Under 20 Youth World Cup in Nigeria. We didn’t have a good tournament, but for me the experience was beautiful”.
– Edward Coudet: “A cute madman! El Chacho was a very funny companion, very jodón who always pushed forward. He gave me his support and his confidence, obviously sometimes he got out of his mind and bitched at me (laughs). But it was always clear to me that he wanted the best for me. He surprised me in the great DT that he became following putting an end to his career as a soccer player ”.
– Ricardo Gareca: “A DT who is always on the player’s side. Gareca is precise with what he wants and very “player”. When he directed me at Talleres he was just another footballer, so I always felt him more like a teammate than a coach. El Tigre is half a mask… he really likes the little camera (laughs)”.
– Walter Gaitan: “Crack… I never saw a left-handed ten like Gaitán. It simplified everything for you on a court. Walter had a difficult life and he struggled since he came from La Rioja. A lot of screwed things happened to him and when he emigrated to Mexico, unfortunately everything became much more complicated for him. Due to some delicate and complex personal problems, he is not having a good time at all ”.
– Ezekiel Gonzalez: “A different player. Equi was a timer and it was practically impossible to take the ball away from him. He’s a good kid, I haven’t seen him for a long time, I know he’s away from soccer and they told me he weighs 120 kilos… might it be him? (laughs)”.
