The fire broke out shortly before 3:30 a.m. in the building located in a cul-de-sac on 15th Avenue, near Boulevard du Lac.
When firefighters from Deux-Montagnes, helped by their colleagues from Sainte-Thérèse and Saint-Eustache, arrived, the conflagration was widespread and the flames were visible from afar.
No one was injured, since the residence was unoccupied at the time of the disaster which saw the building collapse.
The Deux-Montagnes Police Department took over to conduct an investigation into the cause of this possibly arson fire which destroyed the Accurso daughter’s house.
A wide security perimeter was erected to protect the scene for the investigators who had to move on the scene.
At the end of August, Accurso’s son’s house had been targeted by gunfire in a shootout that did not cause any casualties.
