Tonje Brenna proposed as top candidate for Akershus Ap

In the following places are Åsmund Aukrust, Tuva Moflag, Sverre Myrli and Mani Hussaini.

Ap currently has five parliamentary representatives from Akershus.

– This is a proposed list packed with good people. It is a comprehensive list, where everyone shares that Akershus is represented. The list has both candidates with a lot of experience and exciting new names. The candidates have different backgrounds and reflect Akershus’ population well, says the nomination committee’s chairman Torbjørn Ness in a statement.

Tonje Brenna says that she is highly motivated to do a job for people in Akershus, and she thanks the nomination committee so much for their trust.

– It is of course up to the nomination meeting to decide. But I am ready to work so that people have security in their everyday lives, that people have a job to go to and that people once again get better advice. Then we need a strong Labor Party in Akershus and the government, she says.

The proposed list is the committee’s first draft. The proposal will now be considered by the municipal parties and AUF, who will send their feedback to the committee by Friday 25 October.

The nomination committee’s final proposal will be published by Friday 8 November. The nomination meeting chooses the list for the general election on Saturday 23 November.
