The Forza Italia representative is very harsh on Ilaria Salis and her current ideas, as well as her past actions, on the occupation of houses: “There will be investigations when she starts to receive a salary as an MEP, at that moment she will inevitably have to repay what she unjustly took away in her previous life. But there is a whole story linked to her life now, to her public life, to the message she intends to give. But not only to the message, to the political proposal she must make, because this is her mandate. If her political proposal is to say, even to the people who elected her and who put their preference on her name, that it is right to occupy, it means that evidently this is not the job for her. Because the tragedy of this whole affair is that – Castaldini highlights – she goes to occupy apartments of people who are inevitably worse off than her, who are waiting for a house, who are most likely people from large families, with disabilities, with very critical situations”.
