A judicial investigation has been opened following the death of the Tomorrowland employee found dead on the campsite reserved for staff. “It is probably a drug-related death”, communicates the parquet floor on Saturday. The victim is a 26-year-old man.
The lab and the forensic pathologist went on site overnight from Friday to Saturday to make the first findings. The latter suggest that it is a death caused by narcotics, specifies the public ministry. No trace of violence was detected at the scene.
The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office has seized an investigating judge who will order an autopsy and a toxicological analysis in order to further clarify the circumstances of the death.
The famous music festival announced around 03:00 the painful “loss of one of its collaborators”. The emergency services were unable to save the life of the young man. “Above all, we empathize with family and friends. We send our condolences to them,” said Tomorrowland spokeswoman Debby Wilmsen.
