Tomoki Iwata becomes a model! Birmingham unveils new uniform suitable for street wear; “UNDEFEATED” has a striking and intimidating design

On the 26th, Birmingham City of EFL League 1 (English Third Division), to which midfielder Tomoki Iwata belongs, and kit supplier Nike announced the new third uniform for the 2024-25 season.

The 2024-25 new third uniform has a unique design with a camouflage-like pattern in black and gray. The emblem and chest sponsor logo are all red, giving a stylish yet somewhat intimidating impression.
This is likely the first time Birmingham have used this color scheme on their kits.
Chest sponsor “UNDEFEATED” is a popular American sneaker boutique/apparel brand. A five-line brand logo called Five Strikes is attached to the chest.
There is no specific explanation regarding the design of this product, and it appears that the design was focused on fashion and was intended to be worn on the street.
The kit color, which is based on black, is logical in a sense.
Birmingham’s uniform this season is blue for home and white for away. However, in the third division that the team belongs to, there are “blue and white teams” such as Huddersfield Town, Bristol Rovers, and Reading, so a black team that is neither of those is suitable for away games.
Tomoki Iwata, who has shown strong performance by scoring goals in two consecutive games, was also used as the key visual for the third team.
