The drummer of the rock group Motley Crüe, Tommy Lee, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman during a helicopter flight in 2003. More than 20 years later, the alleged victim is seeking compensation.
According to a complaint document obtained by American celebrity news media TMZ, the woman claimed that she was friends with the helicopter pilot and that he had invited her to take a tour of San Diego .
However, once we arrived at the airport, Tommy Lee was there. The complainant was allegedly informed that plans had changed and that all three of them would be leaving for Los Angeles.
She said she felt pressured to agree and that, once in flight, Tommy Lee and the pilot allegedly began drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana and snorting cocaine.
According to the documents, the men allegedly pressed the alleged victim into the cockpit to sit on the musician’s lap. The rocker immediately began to grope her, according to what she indicated.
Tommy Lee allegedly continued to touch and kiss the complainant without her consent and, when she tried to pull away, he allegedly applied greater pressure. He allegedly penetrated her with his fingers while caressing her breasts, she claimed. In the complaint, the woman said the drummer also allegedly pulled down his pants and tried to force her head toward his penis.
When they arrived in Los Angeles, the rocker would have given her a hug before leaving and the pilot would have taken her back to San Diego in silence.
The incident would have left her shocked, distressed, humiliated, ashamed and guilty, she said, saying she did not press charges because she did not think she would be taken seriously.
Since the incident, the woman is said to have suffered from anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and other physical and psychological harm.
A little over 20 years later, she decided to seek damages from Tommy Lee.
Neither the rocker nor his lawyers have made a statement on this matter, according to TMZ, which tried to collect their testimony.
