Tommy Leethe iconic drummer of Mötley Crüewas sued for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman during a helicopter flight.
The complainant, according to a report from NME,
She points out in her statement that the musician attacked her in 2003following inviting her to fly in his personal helicopter “under false pretenses.”
The alleged victim, still unidentified, indicates that following traveling from San Diego to Van Nuys with David Martz, the pilot of Lee’s personal helicopter. After landing, he joined them, at which point the attacks would have begun.
“They consumed several alcoholic beverages, smoked marijuana and snorted cocaine.”, claims the lawsuit. “Then (Lee) proceeded to sexually assault her, forcibly touching her, kissing her, penetrating her with her fingers and attempting to force her to perform oral sex,” he adds.
As a result of the alleged assault, the complainant states that she has suffered serious emotional, physical and psychological distress.
According to her story, she became friends with Lee’s pilot when she worked at a bank in San Diego. It was he who offered him a helicopter ride. However, following accepting, Martz unexpectedly changed his mind and flew to Van Nuys, where they met up with the drummer.
The victim claims to be suffering “shock, anguish, humiliation, shame and guilt”.
“Those feelings, along with Lee’s fame and the music industry climate at the time (in which rock stars like Lee prospered and gained even more celebrity through lewd and hedonistic behavior) led her to believe that it was not necessary report the conduct of Lee and Martz to local law enforcement authorities,” the lawsuit states.
