“We have barely been in 2023 for two months and so far more than 20 percent more than last year, which on these same dates had already raised 17 percent more than in 2021, which was very important for the municipality. because our financial ceiling increased, that is, we went from 4 thousand 300 million budget to 5 thousand 500 million all with the purpose of carrying out work and providing better services”, he indicated.
In an interview, the municipal president of Toluca said that for all citizens who are more compliant, they have benefits of up to 34 percent discount, for older adults or for those who have a special condition, “and in all cases that complied until the first month we gave him all these facilities, and indeed we are observing the different strategies throughout the year to be able to capture more resources that correspond both for water and for the land issue”.
“We have been collecting taxes for two months and there are still many people to pay, but that does not mean that they will not comply with their obligations, while the municipal authorities must achieve the goals that we are setting each month,” he said.
Martínez Carbajal also mentioned that the issue of unsiling is important and we are going to continue doing what corresponds to us, such as the drilling of six more wells to be able to guarantee the water supply in the short term, but we have to expand the capacity and coordinate with the federal government to be able to carry out the outlined goals.
Finally, the Toluqueño mayor commented that in terms of water, the Toluca city council is carrying out important actions so that the vital liquid does not leak “we are putting together a strategy so that we do not lack water, but we must take care of it, since it is not only paying the rights but also take care of it and not waste it, because we are privileged to have it”.
