The joint ministerial decision, published yesterday in the Government Gazette, foresees significant increases in the prices of the Egnatia Road front tolls.
Specifically, with regard to the PE for a vehicle. the prices at the frontal toll stations of Egnatia Road are at Siatista at 1.90 euros, from 1.50 euros, an increase of 26%, while at Polymylos at 1.90 euros, from 1.40 euros, an increase of 35%.
The increases, which are signed by the Ministers of Infrastructure Christos Staikouras, Finance Kostis Hatzidakis and the Deputy Minister of Finance Thanasis Petralias, were a condition for the signing, today, of the Egnatia Road concession contract for 35 years to a private party (TERNA – Egis joint venture).
