The popular Japanese leaker Ryokutya reported that the manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers, will suspend publication starting with the next issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine on March 23. The work will resume until April 6 (it will be a one-week suspension) and The reason is that a member of the author’s staff tested positive for COVID-19, making production difficult.

Takemichi Hanagaki’s second year of high school was the high point of his life. He had respect, a gang of friends he might count on, and even a girlfriend. But that was twelve years ago. Today she is a nobody: a rickety nothing who is made fun of by children and who is always forced to apologize to her youngest boss. A sudden news regarding the cruel murder by the Tokyo Manji gang of the only girlfriend he had with her brother only adds insult to injury. Half a second before a train ends her pitiful life forever, Takemichi recalls that same day twelve years ago, when she was still dating Hinata Tachibana.
After being forced to relive the same day his downward spiral began, Takemichi meets Hinata’s little brother. Without thinking, he admits his apparent death before going back in time. Takemichi urges her to protect her sister from him before inexplicably returning to the future. Miraculously, he is not dead. Stranger still, the future has changed. It seems that Takemichi can alter the flow of time. Given the opportunity to prevent the tragic death of his ex-girlfriend at the hands of the Tokyo Manji gang, Takemichi decides to fly through time to change the course of the future.
