“The opening of the 5th LDC conference in Doha enabled us to salute the progress made by our countries. Since the last conference in 2011, Togo’s GDP has doubled, under the transformative leadership of the President of the Republic Faure Gnassingbé,” said Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé.

This conference takes place every ten years, with the aim of providing special international support for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the United Nations. The first conference was held in Paris in 1981.
