Todd Howard: Bethesda Game Studios is putting the finishing touches on Starfield

In a media briefing with reporters this week, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer and Bethesda Game Studios CEO Todd Howard commented transfer Starfield for the first half of the year, and also talked regarding the current state of the game.

The latter said his team was “putting the finishing touches” on the game. According to Howard, the extra time is a great opportunity for BGS to release the highest quality and finished game.

The head of Bethesda Game Studios also praised the Xbox Series X|S consoles, thanks to the power of which Starfield will show itself from the best side.

Spencer is also sure of success, who believes that Starfield will be a hallmark of the acquisition of ZeniMax Media and all affiliated studios.

Starfield is a unique opportunity for me. We’ve been friends with Todd for a very long time and the fact that Bethesda Game Studios has been working on a new franchise for a long time… Let’s just say it’s going to be the hallmark of acquiring ZeniMax, working with Todd and releasing this game.

I have played a lot Starfield, and in the near future people will see even more frames. My goal is to get as many gamers on the title as possible.

Starfield will be released in the first half of 2023 – according to rumors, in the first quarter (January-March). The first long-term gameplay is expected this Sunday at 20-00 Moscow time at the Xbox & Bethesda show.
