Difficult weather

The National Center of Meteorology pointed out that the weather condition in the Asir region, which includes Abha, Ahad Rufaidah, and Khamis Mushait, will witness moderate rain accompanied by active winds, almost no visibility, hail, and torrential rains.

Mecca weather

The National Center of Meteorology indicated that the weather condition in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, which includes Al-Jumum, will witness light rain accompanied by active winds and a decrease in horizontal visibility.

Medina weather

The National Center of Meteorology noted that the weather condition in Medina will witness light rain accompanied by active winds and a decrease in horizontal visibility.

Today’s weather

Today, Sunday, the National Center of Meteorology expected moderate to heavy thunderstorms to continue, leading to torrential rains, accompanied by hail showers and active winds in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah.

The center also expected the continued impact of active winds that stir up dust and dirt, limiting horizontal visibility in parts of the Najran and Sharqiya regions.

Surface wind movement

The Meteorological Center indicated that the movement of surface winds in the Red Sea is northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/hour, and the wave height is from one to two meters in the northern and central part, and from one to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching higher than two meters with clouds forming. Rainy thunderstorms, and the sea conditions are moderate waves in the northern and central parts, and light to medium waves in the southern parts, reaching wavy, with the formation of rainy thunderstorm clouds.

According to the Meteorological Center, the movement of surface winds in the Arabian Gulf is northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 18-38 km/hour, the wave height is from one to one and a half metres, and the sea condition is medium waves.
