BMKG informed that the wind in Indonesia is dominated by winds blowing from the southwest and northwest with wind speeds ranging from 6 to 40 km per hour.

The temperature today ranges from 16 to 35 degrees Celsius and humidity 57 to 100 percent.

There are observed areas of wind meeting or confluence in the West Java Sea, West Kalimantan, Sulawesi Sea and Flores Sea.

These conditions can increase the potential for rain cloud growth around cyclonic cyclones and along confluence convergence areas.

There is also dry air intrusion which affects humidity in West Sumatra.

In closing, MBKG informed the estimated height of sea waves in Indonesia, which is generally 0.5 to 2.5 meters.

The public is advised to be alert and monitor weather information via the BMKG application to get updates every three hours in their respective areas. (Z-12)
