At 11:00 a.m. on April 6, 2022, the Center for the Epidemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) or Prof. and Ministry of Public Health The situation report of COVID-19 in Thailand is as follows:
- 24,105 infections in the country
- 60 infected in prisons/detention centers
- 87 foreign infections
- 26,225 more healed
- 3,508,052 cumulative recoveries (since 2020)
- 248,078 people are being treated, including 64,335 in hospitals, 183,743 in field hospitals and others, of which 1,845 are in severe condition (pneumonia), 782 are on ventilators.
- 94 new deaths, cumulative death toll 25,603 (since 2020)
- The cumulative total of 3,781,827 confirmed cases since 2020, counting as 3,757,576 – 3,781,827 cases.
For 24,252 new infected people, they are divided as follows:
- 23,831 new cases from surveillance and service systems
- Proactively search for 274 infected people in the community.
- Prisons/prisoners: 60
- 87 foreign visitors
As for the provinces with the most cases, the 5 provinces today ranked first in Bangkok with 3,164 cases, followed by Chonburi at 1,274, Samut Prakan at 875, Nonthaburi with 761 and Samut Sakhon 756.
For the amount of ATK examination reported as of April 6, 2022 at 07.33 am, according to the Ministry of Public Health’s data. Another 26,941 positive cases were found, or ATK, while the cumulative total was 1,195,407, which was not included in the reported number of new cases confirmed by RT-PCR.
