USA. – The United States is one of the countries that is present at the 37th edition of the World Congress of Sports Medicine, which this Saturday is experiencing its third day of activities in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and where one of its outstanding exponents, Dr. Amber T. Donaldson highlighted the importance of this event for the new generations.

Donaldson, vice president of the sports medical area of ​​the Olympic and Paralympic Committee of that country, remarked, in an interview with the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE), that part of the vocation and purpose of a specialist is to share his experience with young people , contributing to their academic training.

“It is an honor to be in this Congress and to be able to share my knowledge, I have a lot of experience with athletes, both Olympic and Paralympic, and to be able to be once once more in Mexico, imparting my advice to the new generations of students and specialists in the field, It’s very rewarding for me.”

“I think that sharing this type of experience helps them to know how to handle, in the future, the cases that are presented to them; it is very encouraging for them because they will be able to face situations in a better way”, detailed.

Being an event that brings together a significant number of members from various countries, such as the United States, Australia, Canada, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Ireland, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Chile, among others, Amber Donaldson recognized that the World Congress is a key opportunity in advancing sports medicine.
