This Friday, February 16, starting at 9 in the morning, job fairs will be held in each of the 15 Havana municipalities, with the presence of entities and organizations from the state sector and the private sector.
This was reported to the Havana Tribune by Osmani Espinosa Ramírez, head of the State Employment Department of the Provincial Directorate of Labor and Social Security, who explained that these initiatives are part of the second edition of the National Employment Fair (FNE), organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and executed by its municipal structures, with the support of local authorities and mass organizations.
The main purpose of the FNE is to facilitate access to job offers for people in the communities, with special attention to those who do not study or work.
State institutions will also offer training courses for those interested in learning a trade.
The official specified that the call is not exclusive to those who are unemployed, but also for those who want to have another job or change the one they currently have.
The other objective of the FNE, he highlighted, is to regularize the employment situation of informal workers, thus ensuring them the benefits provided by the social security system and other rights established in the Labor Code.
