Celebration in New York’s Times Square
Chennai: Tamil superstar Vijay’s 49th birthday will be celebrated on Thursday as the political entry talks continue.
Ahead of this, fans across Tamil Nadu put up posters with the title of the future Chief Minister. Tamil fans are also celebrating the star’s birthday in foreign countries. A video message wishing Vijay was screened at New York’s Times Square.
A fan group from Canada came to New York and displayed Vijay’s video on an electronic screen there. They later spread it through social media. Posters were put up in Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Madurai and other places wishing Vijay. In most of these, Vijay is described as the future Chief Minister.
Fans have decided to hold various events across the state on Thursday, the day of his birthday. Programs will be conducted including aid distribution. Celebrations will also be held in Puducherry. Here too, the posters have featured Vijay as the future Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Vijay had honored the students of all 234 assembly constituencies of Tamil Nadu who achieved top marks in class 10 and plus two in a ceremony held last week. The students and their parents who participated in this demanded that Vijay enter politics.
