Patients with overactive bladder experience some or all of the following symptoms. Like urinating more frequently than usual. Or feeling a strong urge to urinate that cannot be postponed. and urinary leakage when one cannot get to the toilet quickly enough. Waking up to urinate more than once during the night.

Some healthy habits help treat an overactive bladder, including:

Exercising regularly every day:

Pelvic muscle exercises are recommended to help strengthen the bladder muscles.

Avoid smoking:

Smoking irritates the bladder and increases the chances of developing urinary incontinence.

Not drinking fluids 2 to 3 hours before bedtime:

So that the need to urinate during the night does not increase.

Maintaining blood sugar levels:

Which can contribute to worsening symptoms of overactive bladder.
