To the ESIEA Disciplinary for the report on George Baldock’s house

The report about George Baldock that was aired yesterday morning, October 10, on the show “To Proinono” by Giorgos Liagas caused the reaction of ESIEA.

The host of the show, George Liagaswas referred ex officio to its Disciplinary Board ESIEA because of the “yellow” report that referred to information about the footballer’s house George Baldockwho was found dead a few hours earlier.

The report concerned information about the house of the deceased Panathinaikos footballer, such as rent price, square meters and others.

The news sparked outrage on social media, with users pressuring the presenter to apologise.

Also characteristic is the banner with insults against Giorgos Liagas that “went up” last night at OAKA during the Panathinaikos – Bayern basketball game.

A few hours after the report, Giorgos Liagas made a story on Instagram saying that it was his mistake and he takes responsibility for the act.

On his show today, Giorgos Liagas apologized again for George Baldock’s report, saying that he has not slept all night.

According to tlife, this time is not the first time that the well-known presenter “engages” public opinion. In February 2023, ESR fined ANT1 for the way it covered the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Colonos.

In one of his shows on SKAI in November 2019, a very ugly incident against a female student was reenacted, and ESR imposed a fine of 150,000 euros and suspended the broadcast of his show for a week.
