Mint is one of the necessary things in the kitchen and can be used in making salads and various healthy recipes, but preserving it is a problem that many housewives face because its leaves wither and turn black in a short time, even if it is kept in the refrigerator.
If you are facing this problem, we recommend the method that is considered the best and will help keep those green leaves for a long time.
To do this, you have to perform the following steps:
1. Purify the mint from the indoor herbs, but do not wash it with water.
2. Put a layer of thick tissue paper or an absorbent cloth in the plastic storage box.
3. Put the sprigs of mint in the box and seal it.
It can also be stored in a food storage bag, as long as the air in the bag is emptied as much as possible, it can prevent the leaves from wilting and turning black for at least 10 days.
