Alexander Mirzabalayev, a former Russian forward for the Val-d’Or Foreurs, scored a goal of rare beauty on Saturday night in the MHL, the equivalent of the QMJHL in Russia.
While his club trailed 2-0 in the third period, the 20-year-old, who is defending the colors of Russkie Vityazi this season, completely ridiculed a defender who tried to steal the puck from him, before thwarting the keeper of a clever feint.
