To Mitsotakis, the secretaries of the Decentralized Administrations: Weight in investment support

A meeting of the secretaries of the country’s Decentralized Administrations with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was held on Friday, November 1.

During the meeting, the secretary of the Decentralized Administration of the Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian Islands, Dimitris Katsaros, had the opportunity to present to Mr. Mitsotakis, the strategy and account of the organization’s action, as well as to discuss with him the priorities in the context of wider government planning.

At the meeting, an assessment was made of the work produced and the priorities were determined based on the general planning of the government. Opinions and proposals for the operation of the services of the Decentralized Administrations were also discussed, as well as the imprint of the decisions and administrative acts produced in the multiple roles of their responsibilities.

According to information, the prime minister called on the secretaries to do everything they can to further improve the procedures of the services, through their empowerment and their role, in promoting the licensing of major investments in the fields of Energy, Tourism, of Fish Farms and Quarries.

Also discussed was the improvement of relations and the strengthening of cooperation with municipalities and regions, in the context of supporting their work and the projects they are working on.

The meeting was also attended by the Ministers of State Makis Voridis and Akis Skertsos, the Minister of the Interior Theodoros Livanios, the Deputy Ministers of the Interior Vassilis Spanakis and Vivi Charalambogiannis, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Giorgos Mylonakis, the Secretary General of the Prime Minister Stelios Koutnatzis and the Secretary General of Self-Government and Decentralization of Ministry of Interior Savvas Chionidis.
