Many people complain regarding the problem of yellowing of the teeth due to a number of reasons, most notably, the lack of regular use of the toothbrush and paste.
In this article, we will review a group of tricks to get rid of yellowing of the teeth, according to what was reported by the “Healthy” website.
1. Avoid unhealthy habits.
The best way to banish those yellow spots is to avoid all unhealthy habits such as smoking, heavy drinking of coffee and soda, and chewing tobacco.
It is recommended to include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
It is said that consuming products containing milk can help increase pH levels which helps in remineralizing tooth enamel.
2. Rinse your mouth with the oil.
Rinsing your mouth with tea tree, sesame, and coconut oil can help you get rid of plaque that can cause discoloration and help prevent gum-related problems.
All you need is to rinse your mouth with two tablespoons of any of these oils for at least 5 minutes, and then rinse your mouth with warm water, and avoid eating anything for the next half hour.
Repeat twice a day for best results.
3. Brush and floss daily.
Try using a whitening toothpaste or an electric toothbrush as it helps remove plaque more effectively than a regular toothbrush.
People are generally advised to brush and floss immediately following a meal, but doing so can weaken the enamel of your teeth.
It is advisable to wait an hour or more before brushing your teeth, or you can brush your teeth half an hour before a meal and rinse your mouth later.
Other effective measures:
1. Use neem twigs to brush your teeth in the morning.
2. Chew neem leaves to prevent your teeth from turning yellow.
3. You can mix neem essential oil with your regular toothpaste.
4. Rinse your mouth with a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar. Rub your teeth with orange peel or banana peel to get white teeth.
