Ubisoft announced that it was originally scheduled to go on sale on November 8.“War of the Furious Sea”will incorporate the opinions and feedback collected by players during technical testing and the first two weeks of tester planning to further improve and balance the game experience, thus delaying the game’s launch to March 9, 2023.
However, Ubisoft stressed that the game is largely complete, but will use the extra time to refine the content of the game. At the same time, Ubisoft also stated that the delay of the game will not affect its full-year financial goals from 2022 to 2023.
And Ubisoft synchronously announced that before the global release of “Rage of the Furious Sea”, a Beta public test will be held, allowing players to experience the game first. Ubisoft emphasizes that during the open beta, players will have the opportunity to explore Furious Sea’s perspective on pirate legends, thrilling naval battles, and the beautiful and intoxicating 17th-century Indian Ocean.
Developed by Ubisoft Singapore in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios, Rage of the Seas will allow players to experience pirate-themed multiplayer in an open world and rise from exile to pirate overlord.
Inspired by pirate legends, “Rage of the Seas” will take players to experience the real life of a pirate. Whether taking on contract jobs, gathering resources, navigating important trade routes, or even attacking lucrative merchant ships, every decision will affect the player’s journey, with varying degrees of risk and reward.
