To enhance the sports field.. Saudi Arabia and Bahrain sign a memorandum of understanding within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030

The Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, represented by Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Faisal and First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The memorandum aims to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of Sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the General Sports Authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain within the sports sector, focusing on enhancing sports investment and marketing, as well as the management, maintenance, and operation of sports facilities.

Additionally, there is a strong commitment to developing mechanisms for investing in sports facilities, establishing academies, discovering talents, and enhancing and developing sports personnel, along with preparing long-term programs for athletes.

The two parties explained that the Ministry of Sports aims, through the signing of memoranda of understanding, to explore cooperative opportunities with various local and international entities in a manner that aligns with its efforts to develop the sports sector and achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
