The average annual electricity and natural gas bill fell sharply in January. This estimate emerges from the figures of the Flemish regulator VREG.
The estimated annual bill for those who conclude an electricity contract in January has fallen to 1,741.08 euros. That is a saving of 270 euros compared to the annual bill estimated in December. For natural gas, the decrease is even greater.
It is estimated that anyone who concludes a contract in January will pay 2,450.93 euros on an annual basis, a saving of almost 629 euros compared to the estimated annual bill in December.
