The following was issued by Finance Minister Youssef Al-Khalil:
Eighth Article: Withdrawal orders and schedules shall be deposited as papers confirming the debt for each month in the Registry of the Treasury Directorate one week before the deadline set for payment in Article Nine.
(Any exceptional case that calls for the preparation of an attached exchange schedule must be deposited with the withdrawal order in the Registry of the Treasury Department as a maximum on 3/31/2022).
Article Nine: The Treasury Department organizes the payment process with the Banque du Liban, provided that the payment is made according to the following:
As of 15/5/2022 the two aids for the months of January and February
As of 15/6/2022 the two aids for the months of March and April.
As of 15/7/2022, the two aids for the months of May and June are
As of 15/8/2022, the assistance for the month of July is
The payment of aid for the subsequent months shall continue as of the 15th of the following month until the approval of the draft general budget for the year 2022, and as a maximum, the last aid shall be paid for the month of December 2022.
Non-compliance by departments within the specified deadlines leads to postponing the payment of the aid to the next month.
