To achieve a ceasefire, Egyptian officials visit Israel for negotiations

The Palestinian factions presented their demands to Cairo, consisting of Israel stopping its military operations in the Gaza Strip and the escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israel informed Cairo of its return to the armistice and pledged to prevent unilateral operations targeting settlers. Cairo is working with international parties to resolve points of escalation and is communicating with both sides to stop the escalation unconditionally. Currently, cautious calm prevails in the wake of the Israeli army bombing sites in Lebanon and Gaza, responding to rocket attacks that Israel attributes to Hamas.
