TNT and SoulCode Academy train more than 1,500 students in Brazil

The partnership between TNT Energy Drink and SoulCode Academy continues to bear fruit across the country. The Grupo Petrópolis brand of energy drinks with Brazilian edtech has trained more than 1,500 students in bootcamps during the two consecutive years of partnership, with the main purpose of offering free technological education to insert students aged 18 to 65 in the world of work. The courses last four months and have their own methodology.

According to estimates, around 5 families are positively impacted per day through these courses. Currently, the employability index reaches 91% with an average salary of R$ 3,500 per month. And more: around 30,000 people have already been impacted by the SoulCode and TNT partnership with training and nominal income increase.

“The technology market has a long path of expansion. And we at TNT Energy Drink want to encourage and participate more and more in this transformative scenario. We know that this initiative promotes inclusion and professionalization, formally includes people impacted by the project in the technology market, which benefits many families economically and socially”, celebrates Livia Bassi, Marketing Manager of the TNT Energy Drink brand.

This year, in turn, the goal is to train over 2,000 students. With a focus on a scenario of diversity and inclusion for the labor market, with the objective of filling vacancies with a percentage of 50% for women, another 50% self-declared black or brown, 5% PCDs and 2% transsexuals, Soulcode will work with students above 18 years old, in the distribution of 1,000 online bags, which have 5,000 hours of content.

The classes bring together students from 23 states in Brazil, namely: Alagoas, Amazonas, Ceará, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraíba, Paraná, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Sergipe and Tocantins.

The courses are four months long with 800 class hours divided into the tripod soft skills, hard skills and English. They are 100% free and available worldwide.
