Tite mocks Mbappe in response to his statements before the start of the Qatar World Cup: We do not have Azerbaijan

Brazil coach Tite has responded to Kylian Mbappe following the French star claimed that South American teams do not have the same level of competition as European teams.

Brazil She is the bookmaker’s favorite to win the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, with defending champion France in second place.

France’s victory at the 2018 World Cup in Russia was the fourth consecutive time that a European nation had won the most coveted trophies in football, following the victories of Germany (2014), Spain (2010) and Italy (2006).

Brazil was the last non-European team to win the World Cup once more in 2002 but has reached the semi-finals only once since then.

Earlier this year, Mbappe provided a possible reason why Europe has dominated the World Cup in the past two decades.

“Argentina and Brazil don’t have that level of competition in South America,” he said. “Football is not as developed as in Europe, which is why the recent World Cup winners have been Europeans.”

“We don’t have Azerbaijan to face it, with all due respect, we don’t have anyone to give us a break, the qualifiers here have a much higher degree of difficulty than the group stage,” he added. [في التصفيات الأوروبية]”.

Mbappe’s comments also sparked criticism from Argentine international Lautaro Martinez.
