Titanium: a strategic mineral for Paraguay
Titanium, crucial in industries such as aeronautics, automotive, construction and medicine, represents a significant opportunity to diversify and strengthen the Paraguayan economy. Its sustainable exploitation promises to generate new qualified jobs, attract foreign direct investment and improve the country’s position in the global market for strategic minerals.
The development of this industry might boost the creation of local value chains, foster the transfer of technology and knowledge, and open up new export opportunities for Paraguay. In addition, investment in this sector might stimulate the development of infrastructure and associated services, indirectly benefiting other areas of the economy.
The VMME announced that it will continue to closely monitor this strategic project, which promises to be a catalyst for the country’s economic growth and industrial diversification.
