Innsbruck (OTS) At the end of a power struggle there is not the much-vaunted new beginning, but initially the ridiculousness of one party. The new beginning has to wait and remains necessary, only Andreas Babler is responsible for it now.

The SPÖ is sure of malice and ridicule. International headlines and reports regarding the funny Ösis in the German media as well.
It would now be easy to join in an embarrassing Suada: from the chaos troupe to the operetta party. Yes, the SPÖ is on the ground.
But that’s what she’s been for the past few years. Getting up isn’t easy when you’re so badly injured. You can fall on the ground once more if you think you can stand without crutches once more.
Andreas Babler and Hans Peter Doskozil, who was defeated following all, left their mark with dignity on this day, which will be remembered for a long time. Both reacted calmly. You have to get that done first.
Doskozil congratulated Babler following the electoral commission’s mistake was announced and his lifelong dream was shattered. At the same time he made a promise. He will do everything to ensure that the party becomes a unified political force once more.
And Babylon? No triumphant gesture following Saturday’s tears. Nothing like that. Instead, an apology to everyone for the image that the SPÖ gives. He shows understanding for the emotional world in which Doskozil and the party are currently.
He, Babeler, now wants security and is waiting for the election process to be reviewed once more. If the election is confirmed (who still wants to take bets?), then he faces the same task that Doskozil would have faced. And that has become even more difficult following a grueling power struggle between the three camps in the party, a botched member survey and a party congress that is respected in itself by the current fiasco. It is understandable that political opponents will take advantage of the chaotic image that the party is currently presenting. The SPÖ has to endure that.
But the big challenge for Babler is not to endure mockery and malice. It consists of forming a unit once more out of the SPÖ. Only if it appears as a unit can it passionately represent content that first has to be reformulated.
Babeler has proven he can start a fire. But now he has to make sure that he takes all his comrades with him, including those from the weaker camps, without burning himself up. It’s not easy, but what is easy for SPÖ?
