Tips & Tricks: The traffic chaos doesn’t stand a chance, so you can easily get to the Wiesenmarkt today

Tourist train shuttle

Route 2 – Cemetery: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Route (cemetery towards Wiesenmarkt): Cemetery, Völkermarkterstraße, Bahnhofstraße, Prinzhoferstraße, Personalstraße. Route (Wiesenmarkt – Friedhof): Marktstrasse, Lastenstrasse, Völkermarkterstrasse.

ÖBB strengthen offer

The trains offered by S-Bahn 1 and 2 have been increased to hourly frequencies. In addition, the S1 towards Klagenfurt at 10:42 p.m., 11:42 p.m. and 12:42 a.m. On September 25th, October 1st and 2nd at 1:42 am and 2:42 am.

Nostalgic trip to the Wiesenmarkt

The special steam train to the Wiesenmarkt runs on Saturday, September 24th. The 95-year-old steam locomotive takes you from Rosenbach via Faak am See to Villach, along Lake Ossiacher See to St. Veit Westbahnhof. From there, the Wiesenmarkt area is within walking distance. The nostalgic train stops in Feldkirchen at 11:30 a.m., arriving at St. Veit Westbahnhof at 12:35 p.m. Return: 4:25 p.m.
